Eligibility Criteria

Master’s Applicants

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in the targeted field or a closely related one from an approved university listed by the Qatari Ministry of Education and Higher Education, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

• the candidate’s specialty ought to be connected to the field of research for which they applied.

• The candidate must have obtained one of the aforementioned minimal grades and a bachelor’s degree (full-time study) or its equivalent.

• The candidate needs to have graduated within the last five years with a bachelor’s degree.

• If they receive their final degrees by August 1st of the same year, students in their last year of bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for admission.

PhD Applicants

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in the field of concentration or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.25, as well as a master’s degree (or its equivalent) in a specialization related to the research field for which the candidate is applying, from an accredited university acknowledged by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar, with a minimum GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 (or its equivalent).

• Prove that he studied frequently (full-time) to earn his master’s and bachelor’s degrees.

• The Applicant has a certain level of English language ability and can do academic research and study in Arabic.

• Gain acceptance inside the organization.

• Not be eligible for any other scholarships and be unable to pay for the expenses of obtaining a PhD.

• The student must finish the first phase’s courses within the two semesters that the grant is awarded. If they are not finished within that time frame, the student will be responsible for paying any additional fees that the school determines.
