Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship – Introduction
The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2026–2027 (BDGS) is a fully funded scholarship for international students. It is offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam.Students can apply to study Diploma, undergraduate, or Master’s programs at top universities in Brunei. Moreover, the scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and cultural exchange. It also encourages international cooperation.The academic session will start in July or August 2026. Successful applicants will receive full support to cover tuition, accommodation, and other benefits.

Eligibility Criteria – Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship
- Applicant must be citizen of Pakistan/AJK Must be between the ages of 18-25 for undergraduate programmes
- Age should not exceed 35 years for candidates who are applying for master’s/postgraduate programs.
- The applicant must have completed 12 years education (HSSC/Intermediate or equivalent) for application to 04 year bachelor’s program.
- The applicant must have completed 16 years education or a 4-year bachelor’s/equivalent degree for application to the postgraduate master’s program.
- The applicant must provide a health certificate with his application.
- IELTS/TOEFL scores are required, where applicable.

Apply Procedure – Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship

- Candidates must submit the BDGS scholarship application through the official scholarship application portal.
- In addition to the scholarship application, applicants are required to apply separately to their chosen institution using the official university portals:
- The final deadline to submit all applications is 15 February 2026 at 23:59 (Brunei Time).
- Scholarship selection results will be communicated via email on or after 1 June 2026 (tentative).
