The HEC Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2026 invites applications from Pakistani and AJ&K nationals for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme (2026–27), a prestigious initiative funded by the Hungarian Government. Eligibility Criteria for HEC Stipendium Hungaricum

• The applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan/AJ&K.

• Applicants enrolled in the last year of their existing degree can also apply.

• There is no upper age limit for the application process. Applicant must be 18 years of age on or before 31^st August 2026.

• The process does not require applicants to attest their educational documents at the initial stage.

• Some Hungarian universities may require IELTS/TOEFL scores, whereas most of the institutions require English proficiency certificate for the admissions

• All applicants must submit all required documents to the online Stipendium Hungaricum application system by 15 January 2026, except for the medical certificate, which awardees must bring and present during the compulsory medical examination in Hungary.

• Applicants are required to provide HAT/USAT test scores. Applicant must have obtained a minimum score of 50% out of total marks in the HAT/USAT test. The test validity for HAT is 02 years and USAT is 01 year.

• The authorities plan to open HAT/USAT registration on December 8, 2025, and they expect to conduct the test on February 1, 2026; this result will serve as the final eligibility opportunity for Hungary Scholarship 2026–27 applications.

• The system will automatically update test scores for scholarship nominations after announcing the results, and applicants do not need to add their tentative February 1, 2026 test marks manually.
