PEEF Chief Minister Scholarship for PhD Program launched by the Government of Punjab. As per the eligibility criteria set for this scheme scholarship programme, both male & female applicants fulfilling the selection criteria are selected for the award of a PhD scholarship to pursue their degree course from one of the top 50 ranked universities of the world. The scholarship scheme focuses on the meritorious students of Punjab. However, special quotas have also been allocated for applicants coming from other federating units of Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria for PEEF
- Valid PhD admission offer from one of the Top 50 (subject-wise) Universities of the World (QS ranking) in preferred subject areas
- Not less than 60% marks throughout the academic career.
- The declared monthly family income (including self, spouse, and parents) is equal to or less than PKR. 200,000/-
- Maximum age of 35 years at the time of submission of application
- Not availed any foreign scholarship in the past
- The student must take up the scholarship in the year for which it is offered, and the scholarship shall not be deferred to the next year
- Existing permanent / regular faculty members of public sector teaching / educational institutions of Pakistan are not eligible to apply for PhD Foreign Scholarship
- Preference shall be given to the students having Punjab domicile; however, PEEF has also reserved a special quota for other provinces including AJ&K, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT)
- Getting admission in the University and applying for a Visa is the responsibility of the applicant

- Attested copy of domicile
- Income affidavit on legal paper
- Attested copies of all educational testimonials
- Latest tax return of applicant and father/ guardian
- Copy of Synopsis/ Research Proposal
- Copy of previous months’ payslips
- Attested copy of CNIC
- Copy of Passport
- CV / Resume
- Copy of last paid utility bills (Electricity, gas, and phone)
- Three passport-size photographs (White background)
- Any other supporting document required to substantiate the facts given in the application form

- Secure admission in current Top 50 QS Ranked (subject wise) Universities of the world in the preferred subject areas as mentioned above

- Submit the duly filled application form along with required documents within the due date in the PEEF office
