Eligibility Criteria
- The pupil who does not hold Japanese nationality.
- This award is open to non-Japanese students who will be enrolled in or applying to graduate programs in Japan by September/October 2025.
- A professional graduate school enrolling student is not, in theory, eligible to apply. On the other hand, the applicant who can turn in a research strategy is qualified.
- The time spent enrolled till graduation must be less than twelve months.
- The applicant for a PhD program must begin the course by the age of 35 to be eligible.
- There is no exception to the requirement that a student seeking a master’s program begin the master’s course by the age of thirty.
- To serve in their native nation as a future career plan, the student must possess a strong will.
